Admission Procedure

Criteria for Admission
01. Student should secure 40% marks in each subject in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd terminal examinations in order to secure promotion to the next class.

02. Special arrangements cannot be made for pupils, who for any reason whatever, are absent from the main examinations or any part of them. No claim for promotions will be entertained on the basis of Medical Certificate. Answer scripts, submitted by pupils, for these examinations will not be returned to parents, private tutors or others. In special cases, the school authorities may review answer scripts at the rate of Rs. 25 per paper.

03. No student who has got less than 75% attendance during the School Academic year will be permitted to sit for the final examination unless special permission to do so is obtained from the Principal.

04. Re-tests will not be given for being absent on any grounds. In case of absence on account of genuine illness, the pupil’s general performance in the class will be taken into consideration for promotion.

06. The assessment made by the teacher duly checked by the Principal is fair and final.

07. Those absent for any of the tests or examination will not get any position.

08. Parents and Guardians are specially requested to notify the School of any changed in their address and phone numbers.

09. Parents/guardians or others are not permitted to meet to pupil or teachers during class hours without the sanction of the school authorities. All dealings with the teachers should be conducted through the Principal.

10. Late comers will not be admitted to class without valid reason.

11. Parents are requested to make the necessary arrangements for the return of their children from school. School, who happens to be left behind the School after the class hours, should report to the office without delay. The School cannot take responsibility for students after class hours.

12. It is very much appreciated when parents respond to the invitation sent to them to attend the Parents-Teacher’s meeting and other School events.

Admission & Withdrawals of Pupils

ADMISSION
01. Children are normally admitted at the beginning of the session.

02. The largest intake is Nursery and Kindergarten. Vacancies in all the other classes are very few and in some case none at all.

03. Registrations are generally made after the second week of February or according to the instructions issued.

04. At the time of admission a student must produce a satisfactory evidence of the date of birth such as a Birth Certificate for the KG section or an affidavit and a transfer Certificate of the previous school from class I upwards. The original & photo copy of the school mark sheet is a must.

05. A student will be admitted only to the class mentioned on the Transfer Certificate and to no higher class nor will student be promoted before the end of a school calendar year.

06. The school leaving certificate of a student joining the school from classes VII to XII must be countersigned by the educational authorities of the district which the previous school is situated.

07. A fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged for a T.C. and this will be issued only three days after the receipt of withdrawal form duly signed by the guardian. A duplicate copy of T.C. shall be made available on payment of Rs. 100/-.

WITHDRAWALS
01. Student s withdrawing midterm due to any reason what so ever will have to pay fee for the next months. TC with be issued only after all the dues have been cleared.

02. The principal can , in the interest of the school, have a student removed if in the former’s opinion the student has failed to accept the discipline of the school and his/her continued presence is detrimental to the interest of other students or if the student fails to come up to the academic standard of his/her class and when detention in the same class would make the student fails to come up the academic standard of his/her class and when detention in the same class would make the student too old for his/her class.

03. No transfer certificate or school leaving certificate will be issued until all school dues have been paid.
